Brett Watkins is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama, and now calls Prattville home. He first moved to Montgomery to attend Faulkner University on a golf scholarship and later completed his degree in Computer Science at Troy University. From a young age, Brett was drawn to technology, always reaching for the nearest computer. He credits games like Minecraft with sparking his passion for programming and setting him on the path to a career in web development.

As a member of Dogwood’s development team, Brett is known for his thoughtful approach, steady focus, and ability to solve problems with clean, efficient code. Whether launching new websites or troubleshooting technical issues, he brings a reliable and curious mindset to the job daily.

Outside work, Brett enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, their young child, and their 2 cats and dog—especially during slow, relaxing afternoons at home.
