Dogwood proudly celebrated its third consecutive year providing comprehensive marketing services for the annual Pike Road Patriot Fund Crawfish Boil on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Nearly 1,500 attendees from across the community joined the event, which supports arts and athletics programs at Pike Road Schools.
Brian Harris, owner and CEO of Dogwood Media Solutions, serves on the Pike Road Patriot Fund board. In his role, Harris helps secure sponsorships and participates in strategic planning to enhance the overall experience and success of the event.
Dogwood’s responsibilities for the event included social media management, email campaigns, digital and traditional advertising, website management, and attendee registration processes. The firm also provided professional videography and photography services, capturing memorable moments and enhancing promotional materials for future events.
Other Dogwood team members, including Bekah Gordon, Nick Wells, Bob Harris, and Jessica Head, actively participated by assisting with event setup on Friday, handling signage, and volunteering their time at the event entrance on Saturday to support their community.
“It’s an honor for Dogwood to play a significant role in supporting our local schools and community,” said Harris. “The success of this event grows each year, and it’s rewarding to see such enthusiastic support from sponsors, attendees, and our dedicated volunteers. We eagerly look forward to announcing the final fundraising total, which we expect to be between $60,000 and $70,000, benefiting Pike Road Schools.”
Recognized as the second-largest annual crawfish boil in Alabama, the Pike Road Patriot Fund Crawfish Boil significantly impacts local education by funding critical programs and resources. Dogwood looks forward to continued collaboration and growing community engagement in future events.
